On this week’s edition, there’s plenty to learn with regards to keeping your content as accessible as possible, optimising repurposed content, keeping content engaging with little effort alongside optimising live chat content through YouTube.

The Lionesses lead by example as to how to keep your content inclusive and accessible

An X post by the Lionesses

Adding alt text to your images across social media makes your content more accessible, considering the algorithms appreciate content that promotes inclusivity 👀

Long story short, the more people that can benefit from your content, the higher it will likely rank across the social media algorithms to make an impression on your current and prospective audience 💡

The best thing about this is that it takes as little as a couple of minutes but makes such a massive difference to audiences that have limitations such as visual impairments ⏲️

For that reason, if you’re a combat sports athlete who has uploaded a recent highlight reel of your training, make sure you alt-text it; if you’re a brand sharing something of a similar brand, alt-text it 🌟

Nina-Marie continues to lead by example as to how fan-led creators can optimise comments to attract engagement

Instagram post by Nina-Marie

Nina-Marie has rapidly become a well-known creator across the MMA space who has landed interviews with many UFC stars such as Sean Strickland, Jorge Masvidal, Belal Muhammad and more 👀

The young lady’s content format tends to be very engaging, eye-catching and entertaining. Three themes that Instagram appreciates, and they are often remixed from previous posts as well. Therefore, she’s expanding outside of her niche audience to prospectively grow her demographic 💡

Plus, this means she doesn’t need to put so much effort into her comment section regarding encouraging people to comment. Literally, the content she’s produced speaks for itself. The three best comments will be pinned 📍

Israel Adesanya showcases how to repurpose content in an engaging fashion on TikTok

TikTok post by Israel Adesanya

The last stylebender has a title defence against Sean Strickland in the next couple of weeks and has utilised a compilation of clips from a press conference they shared last year when Izzy defended his belt against Jared Cannonier 👀

Three themes that worked really well with this involved Israel ending up having the upper hand, an engaging audio to accompany the video clip and a reflective interview of Sean’s fight against Alex Pereria, an opponent that Izzy has a strong history with 💡

Sky Sports Boxing illustrate how to optimise live streams through YouTube

Soon coming is the rematch between Liam Smith & Chris Eubank Jnr, and as usual, as a part of the fight promotion the gloves are off 👀

During the live stream, YouTube has a live chat function you can use to optimise comments, and this has multiple benefits 👇🏾

Team USA crushes Jordan to sweep through World Cup group

سایت بت برو
سایت betboro

MANILA, Philippines — Team USA’s Anthony Edwards and Jordan’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added some spice to what otherwise would have been a low-drama game, staging an American playground-style duel that isn’t normally seen at the FIBA World Cup.

The two shooting guards went back-and-forth racking up points and giving the crowd at Mall of Asia Arena something to pay attention to besides the score as Team USA won 110-62 on Wednesday to finish first-round pool play 3-0.

The U.S. moves on to the World Cup’s second round and will play Montenegro (2-1) on Friday and Lithuania (3-0) on Sunday.

Edwards delighted in the meeting with Hollis-Jefferson, who was one of his mentors in training camp with the Minnesota Timberwolves his rookie year in 2020. Hollis-Jefferson, a six-year NBA veteran, came in as the event’s second-leading scorer and one of the happy stories of the first week.

“We haven’t seen each other since then, so it was fun,” Edwards said. “And yeah, we was talking with smack out there for sure.”

Edwards threw in several dunks, three 3-pointers and even a behind-the-back pass. He finished with 22 points in 19 minutes and also had eight rebounds and four assists.

Edwards also fouled Hollis-Jefferson twice, which is something Hollis-Jefferson has become an expert at while playing overseas the past two seasons. After drawing 15 fouls in a 39-point showing against New Zealand on Monday, Hollis-Jefferson drove, twisted and baited the U.S. into fouling him eight times.

Hollis-Jefferson finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds, though he was slowed after spraining his left ankle on a drive to the basket in the first half.

In a moment that sort of summed up the show, Edwards scored on back-to-back breakaways during the third quarter. On the first, Jordan’s Amin Abu Hawwas tried to get in Edwards’ way and forced him to abandon a highlight dunk attempt and settle for a layup. Edwards gave him a sideways look for ruining the chance.

Seconds later, after a Jordan turnover, Edwards had the ball on a break again. This time Abu Hawwas slowed down behind Edwards as he threw down a windmill dunk to the delight of the crowd.

Team USA coach Steve Kerr had seen enough late in the third, calling timeout to take out his starters. Edwards said farewell by tossing in a 35-footer that didn’t count.

Edwards was in one of his typical good moods after the contest and, with an average margin of victory of 34 points through three games, was feeling confident about Team USA’s chances of winning the World Cup for the first time since 2014 — especially after being asked about Sunday’s second-round game with Lithuania, which is also undefeated.

“I think we gonna win,” Edwards said with a smile. “We’re undefeated also. I think we have a great chance to win. We got great coaching staff. We got great players. And our confidence is at all times we not really worried about those guys.”

The most important thing that happened for the Americans in the game was a starting lineup change, Kerr’s first of the past month. He put in Josh Hart, who played strongly in the win over Greece on Monday, for Brandon Ingram.

The move was made for Ingram’s benefit, as he was struggling mostly as a spot-up shooter. With the second unit, he was able to play with the ball more in his hands, as he’s used to with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Ingram immediately looked more comfortable as a playmaker and had his best game in Manila, racking up five assists with seven points in 15 minutes.

“We just felt like it was important to take a look at Josh with the starting group and Brandon with the next group to see if the combinations fit,” Kerr said. “I liked what I saw. The game wasn’t competitive, but there was good flow with both groups.”

Jaren Jackson Jr. also had a strong game, with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Serbia, Georgia and Brazil also advanced to the second round with victories Wednesday.

The Canberra Raiders have copped a fair bit of criticism over the past few weeks, being labelled as a team that ‘isn’t ready to play finals’ or is ‘just making up the numbers’.

While for many this may seem the case, this isn’t all true. While the Raiders continue to be in close games and struggle to beat many teams, they continue to win. The Raiders enter the last two rounds having to play against the Broncos and Sharks, two teams that are well in contention for this year’s premiership.

The nation’s capital team have the sixth worst for and against in the competition, mainly because their largest winning margin is 12 points, achieved last round against the Bulldogs.

Canberra was without their star man Jack Wighton in their win over Canterbury and still managed to put them away in the end with a late Bulldogs try pulling them back to within the 1-12 margin the Raiders haven’t been able to escape. Wighton has been named in the reserves this week against the Broncos but may be a late into the starting team to boost their chances of winning. He’ll add the much-needed spark they require to fight against the top teams.

They have found a consistent forward pack through Joseph Tapine, their captain Elliot Whitehead, Hudson Young, the experienced Josh Papali’i and arguably the best lock in the competition this season, Corey Horsburgh.

Horsburgh has been cleared by the Raiders independent doctors and has been named in the starting lineup this week after a head knock late in the contest against the Bulldogs.

Finding a fullback who can fill the role week in week out has been a problem for the Raiders all season especially with the departure of Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad this season, but it seems those problems have been fixed.

Jordan Rapana has found a spot at fullback and is beginning to find great form. Rapana had three try assists, a try, ten line breaks and 187 metres in a great day out. Along with young Matt Timoko, who could be considered one of the best centres in the competition this year and continues to show his strengths every week.

Canberra have defeated both of their upcoming opponents earlier in the season and should fancy their chances in their upcoming games. Should they win both of their games they will guarantee a home final and even a top four chance should the Storm lose one of their games.

If Canberra can get a home final and come fifth, they would play one of the teams fighting for the eighth position at GIO Stadium. If this is the case, they will get a maximum capacity crowd for a surely emotional last home game for the club for Jarrod Croker and Jack Wighton.

As seen the Raiders can compete with any team on their day, especially on their home ground. Their recent record against teams such as the Broncos (4 of their last 5), Sharks (9 in a row), Rabbitohs (4 of their last 5), Storm (5 out of the last six when playing in Melbourne) shows how dominant they can be against teams good enough to win the premiership.

2023 Women's World Cup odds: Sweden vs. Australia third-place match prediction, pick

سایت بت برو
سایت betboro

While the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will culminate in an electric showdown between Spain and England, fans and bettors are also gearing up for the epic third-place match between Australia and Sweden.

Host nation Australia bowed out of the tournament after losing to England 3-1 in the semifinals. In that match, Sam Kerr scored the only goal for the Matildas. On World Cup NOW, Jimmy Conrad noted that people “can argue Australia surpassed expectations,” which certainly has some merit. Pre-tournament, Australia’s odds to win it all were +1100.

Sweden’s run came to an end after being eliminated by Spain. In that semifinal contest, both countries were scoreless until the 80th minute. The Blue and Yellow ended up falling to La Roja by a score of 2-1. Sweden’s pre-tournament odds to win the Cup were +1600.

So which country — Australia or Sweden — will claim the third-place trophy tomorrow? Let’s dive into the odds with an expert pick from FOX Sports Soccer Journalist Doug McIntyre.

Sweden vs. Australia, 4 a.m. ET Saturday, FOX and FOX Sports app

To win third place:

Sweden -126 (bet $10 to win $17.94 total)
Australia -106 (bet $10 to win $19.43 total)

Result at the end of regulation odds:

Sweden +145 (bet $10 to win $24.50 total); Australia +175 (bet $10 to win $27.50 total)
Draw: +230 (bet $10 to win $33 total)

*odds as of 8/18/2023

Pick via FOX Sports Soccer Journalist Doug McIntyre:

Sweden has the better team, woman-for-woman. They’ve finished third at a World Cup three times before, including four years ago in France. But the Matildas have the best striker in the world in Sam Kerr, and more to play for with an entire nation behind them.

That should be enough to propel the Australians to bronze in front of a packed house in Brisbane.

PICK: Australia to win (bet $10 to win $19.43 total)

Indiana sophomore big man Kel’el Ware is participating in the Nike Skills Academy this week in Portland, Oregon.

As one of 16 college players participating, Ware is getting the opportunity to play in front of NBA personnel. The event wraps up this weekend.

Through the first two days of the event, Ware is already drawing rave reviews from Jonathan Givony of ESPN and Draft Express.

In a series of videos shared Tuesday and Wednesday, Givony shared some favorable notes on Ware on social media.

“Not many 7-footers who move as fluidly and have the type of skill-level Kel’el Ware does,” Givony wrote Tuesday. “Good opening day for him at Nike Academy.”

And on Wednesday, Givony shared the following: “Kel’el Ware was impressive in drills again today at Nike Academy. Quick off his feet finishing lobs and diving out of pick and roll, with soft touch around the rim and out to 3.”

As a freshman at Oregon, Ware averaged 6.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game for the Ducks. He shot 45.7 percent from the field and 27.3 percent on 3s.

At the conclusion of his freshman season, Ware entered the transfer portal and committed to Indiana in early April.

England-Nigeria, Australia-Denmark predictions, picks by Chris 'The Bear' Fallica

“Bear Bets” are real wagers that Chris “The Bear” Fallica is actually making.

The 2023 Women’s World Cup is heating up now that we’re in the knockout stage — and you can watch all the action on FOX and the FOX Sports app.

RELATED: United States vs. Sweden highlights: Sweden triumphs on penalty kicks

As for gambling on these matches, I’ll give you my best bets daily throughout the tournament. Basically, if I see an edge, and I’m betting on it, I’ll share it. I want us all to win!

I believe in transparency, so my tournament best bets record currently sits at 27-19, +$393. This is based on my wager amounts, with each being to win $100. But remember, you can always bet any amount you are comfortable with.

Let’s dive into the fun with a couple of bets I’m making for Day 3 of the knockout stage.

England vs. Nigeria, 3:30 a.m. ET Monday, FS1 and the FOX Sports app

England to advance and Both Teams To Score (BTTS) No (-170)

Nigeria has been tough to crack, as it didn’t concede a goal in two of its three group matches. So it wouldn’t surprise me if this one went to extra time. It also wouldn’t surprise me if England scored early and just saw the game out.

This has been a tourney of major shocks, but I can’t see the major shock of England not advancing here — especially with the lineup changes and change in tactics employed by Sarina Wiegman.

PICK: England to advance and BTTS No (bet $10 to win $15.88 total)

Check out Vlatko Andonovski’s postgame presser after the USWNT’s elimination vs. Sweden in the round of 16 in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Australia vs. Denmark, 6:30 a.m. ET Monday, FS1 and the FOX Sports app

Under 2.5 goals (-165)

Denmark has scored three goals in the tourney. One was from the penalty spot against Haiti, one was in the 90th minute versus China, and one was in the 10th minute of stoppage time against Haiti.

This has the feel of Denmark just trying to get to extra time against the host nation and not leave itself open to counterattacks and dangerous chances.

I can’t see Denmark scoring unless Australia does something very bad — which it did against Nigeria. Either way, I expect two goals max in the 90 minutes.

PICK: Under 2.5 goals by both teams combined (bet $10 to win $16.06 total)

Chris “The Bear” Fallica has covered sports for nearly three decades. While college football has been his focus, he also enjoys the NFL, Soccer, Golf, Tennis, MLB, NHL and Horse Racing, with an “occasional” wager on such events.
